About us
Our grandpa called us “the gold dust twins” but we never really knew why. We decided to research for the purpose of this blog, and boom!:
The phrase, “Gold Dust Twins”, is often used to describe two talented individuals working closely together for a common goal. Sounds good to us, thanks gramps. We’d like to agree with you.
Being 2 of 25 first-cousins spread out over 36 years, we were inseparable amongst our giant family. We would spend our summers on the lake in northern Michigan getting scolded, hurt, lost, and generally told to stop doing whatever we were doing. It was great. Once college rolled around, Evan went to Florida to study marine biology, while Mike stayed in Michigan to get a business degree.
Without almost any contact for over 4 years, Mike decided to take his limited vacation days at his accounting job in New York City to visit Evan the dolphin-trainer in Bermuda. We hadn’t lost a step, and the trip planning began right away.
